This is my dear Annie who died two and a half years ago -- I hadn't yet discovered this website -- so please pardon the belated little eulogy. Right after I moved into my house here, I saw her advertised in the newspaper: "free to a good home." Sight unseen, I went upstate late at night to get her; she was the second of my three rescue Dals. She was seven, and I told her "If we just have five years together, that'll be great." (We had four and a half.) The first two nights she thought she shouldn't get up on my bed, so I slept on the floor with her. Later CJ (Seedge) came along, and she was a great foil for him -- smarter than he, but a terrific wife. Where he was a goofy galoot, she was a dainty belle. Her departure in winter 2009 indirectly paved the way for the adoption of my big Weim, Romy. But Annie, I miss you still. Run free, sweet girl.

What a beautiful girl -- I love her spots. She reminds me of our DomiNoe, who left us almost 4 years ago.
